Algamo s.r.o. was founded in 2011 in the Mostek community, nestled in the foothills of the Krkonoše Mountains National Park in the Czech Republic.

The company specializes in the cultivation of the freshwater microalga Haematococcus pluvialis, from which it produces the most potent form of natural astaxanthin—a powerful antioxidant with a wide range of health benefits.
